A copy can still be unusable
A completed job may store files without a consistent application database or usable credentials. A recovery point must match the system it is meant to restore, not merely appear in a list of successful uploads.
Reserve every retained version
A storage quota is total retained data, including previous versions. Seven full copies of a 5GB site can require 35GB before metadata and safety allowances. Do not sell the same space again as another customer’s backup vault.
Exercise the recovery
Restore to an isolated target, check data and application behaviour, and record the result. Access permissions, decryption keys, network location and supplier retention are part of the test. A successful copy job alone does not prove a recovery time objective.
Make the promise fit the evidence
Bounded assisted restore labour is not unlimited emergency recovery. This preview makes no guaranteed recovery point or time claim; any future commitment needs a verified delivery design and contractual scope.
